Bare

Stripped bare of all their fur, the truths shows of what they really were.  A symbol of loneliness no more. No purpose for what they died for.  A blood stain in a sea of snow, the difference in color really shows.
   the water pools and freezes what remains is dragged away. Remains once warm now ice cold. The woods And snow are the only ones who will ever know, others scared off by the crack of the hammer.
  A woodsman is no match for the wolf.

My constant

The pain makes you mad, but the bliss makes you ignorant. I would rather be crazy than stupid for all my life.    I'm strong willed but have a quiet peace of mind. I don't like confrontation but I won't back down from a fight.  I can play six different instruments but can't sing a simple tune. So tell me who I am to you.

Breathe

An intake of breath can describe a thousand moments.  A surprise birthday party, an unexpected kiss, an engagement ring.  All moments followed by a gasp.  But for every surprise party there is a funeral,  for every unexpected kiss there is a slap in the face, for every 'I love you' there is an 'it's over'.             An exhale of breath can describe a thousand moments.   A close call, a moment of relaxation, a 'you passed'.  All moments followed by the release of that gasp.  But even our breaths aren't alone, they come in pairs. One cannot come without the other.  Like life you cannot find beauty if the there wasn't so much ugliness.    Like love it takes two to express a moment, and to define a relationship.

Sugar and Spice

   I hold my breath and listen carefully,
 his voice is warm and kind it calls to us,
eyes cold and stealy as he looks at me,
don't forget what he constantly tells us.

Shivers run down my spine as he's speaking,
fearing him is what keeps us in our line,
he knows our weaknes and keeps us crying,
punishment whenever one of us whine.

He forces us to be strong yet be kind,
respect the tough and pity all the weak,
secrets that we hide and can't let him find,
we are gentle and sweet can't let him peek.

Beacause we are made of sugar and spice.
We have to act like we're all sweet and nice.
